Bath and Water Fun
Tactile defensive children often hate bath time. The key to getting children in the bath is to make bath time fun! Having a selection of toys that can only be played with in water can encourage children to take a bath. Bubbles, bath crayons and clay, music and singing can also make bath time fun.
Often some good proprioceptive input and deep pressure activites before bath time and a firm rub down with a warm towel after the bath can help too.
